The Loom Saga is one of my favorite books series by Elise Kova.

Ariana is more of an antihero than anything else, which made for a very interesting POV character, though she isn't the only POV character. If I'm remembering correctly, this series was less clean than her Air Awakens series, but more clean than the books marketed more for adults like the Married to Magic series and Arcana Academy.

It's been a while since I read these books, but they've been on my mind, so I'm probably going to be...

The Golden Goose by Lea Doue' was a funny and squeaky clean retelling of the Golden Goose. I haven't seen many stories retelling this particular fairy tale and it was nice to see something unique.

This is part of the multi-author All That Glitters Series.

Here's the official description:

Golden Goose is a reimagining of The Golden Goose by the Brothers Grimm. Join Elowen on the adventure of a lifetime to ransom her brother from trolls with help from a mushroom-hunting dragon, a flirty prince,...

Amphibian's Kiss was a cute story that I enjoyed reading. It did include a love triangle, which isn't something I'm crazy about, but that's the only thing that I didn't like about it.

This is part of the multi-author All That Glitters series. Lichelle Slater wrote a fun Frog Prince story that I'd happily read again.

Here's the official description:

I did not dream Kai was a frog prince. The frog is Kai, and he has, indeed, been cursed.

A year ago, Prince Kaison arrested my mother, shattering our...

Mary Mecham delivers a thrilling story in Rapunzel's Gambit. This villainous Rapunzel retelling has so many twists and turns, and gave me a wild ride of emotions. If you even remotely love dragons or fairytale retellings, I'd say this is a must read.

This is part of the multi-author All That Glitters series, but it takes place in the same world as Mary Mecham's Assassin of Fire and Sacrifice, another great book to read.

Here's the official description:

Some princesses would rather be the villain...

Stolen Magic by Camille Peters I absolutely loved this villanous Goose Girl

I absolutely loved this villanous Goose Girl retelling. In Stolen Magic, Lysandra manages to be the villain of the story while still being relatable and genuinely good as a whole. I Enjoyed reading through all the twists and turns involved. Camille Peters did a fantastic job with her contribution to the All That Glitters series.

Here's the official description:

In a world where magic once reigned, Lysandra must decide how much she is willing to lose to fulfill her vengeful plans...or if her...

Escaping Pirates by Mary Mecham Escaping Pirates was a fun and intense

Escaping Pirates was a fun and intense Cinderella retelling that I thoroughly enjoyed reading recently. I was lucky enough to be part of the ARC team and I'd highly recommend reading this book. It's book 4 in Mary Mecham's Legends of Neverland series. Having read the other books in the series, I would suggest starting at book 1, Becoming Hook. I think you can still understand Escaping Pirates well enough without the context of the earlier books, but there are significant spoilers included if...

Tainted Beauty is a delightful mashup of King Midas and Beauty and the Beast. It's another book in the multi-author All That Glitters series. I loved every second reading it.

Alesha Adamson is a new to me author, but I definitely want to see what else she has to offer.

Here's the official description of Tainted Beauty:

A dragon’s curse, a deadly touch, a maiden tainted by beauty… can they break the curse—or will it consume them?

Aurelius has lost everything. Desperate to regain his worth, he...

I read this book in a single day and I'm already chomping at the bit for whenever book 2 will be out.

Arcana Academy is the first book in Elise Kova's newest series of the same name.

I feel like anything I can say about this book would be a spoiler, but there was so much to enjoy. I've enjoyed every book I've read by Elise Kova, even the less popular ones, but judging by the sales ranks, I'd say this is one of her more popular books.

Although I do feel like I need to note that this one is on her...

Diamond Wishes by Abigail Manning I absolutely loved reading this

I absolutely loved reading this interesting take on Aladdin. Although it's not closely aligned to the original story, I love the fact that both the ring and the lamp from the original come into play, unlike most retellings. Diamond Wishes is part of the multi-author All That Glitters series and I'd highly recommend reading it.

Although I haven't read all of Abigail Manning's books yet, I've loved everything I have managed to read so far.

Gilded Locks is another great book from the multi-author All That Glitters series that I was happy to be on the ARC team of. I loved this fun mashup of Robin Hood and Goldilocks that kept me guessing.

It looks like this is the first book by Julene Johnson, but I hope to see more from this author.

Here's the official description:

A Rogue returned in need of unmasking. A dangerous magic in need of containing. Her town and her heart hang in the balance.

Recommenced book - Peter Pan retelling I was fortunate enough to be able to

I was fortunate enough to be able to read Lost Starlight before it released. It's part of the multi-author All That Glitters series, but it's also part of Kayla Eshbaugh's Cursed Kingdoms series.

It's a beautiful, clean retelling that I loved. Although I think it could be enjoyed on its own, I'd recommend reading at least Sea's Secret first.

Here's the official description:

Happily ever after was only the beginning of their story.

When a pirate Captain, named Hook, begins stealing lost boys from...
